Panama is a contemporary love story. Hiding emotions, running away from intimacy and honesty, and general alienation. Afraid of being rejected, the two lovers fight against their emotions, in an attempt to hide their feelings. They comply to a prevailing belief in which relationships between young people are reduced to vanity, distance and emotionless sex.
Panama is the first feature film from Serbian director Pavel Vučković, selected for Cannes, Moscow ,Transylvania and Sofia International Film Festivals.
Eastern Neighbours Film Festival presents the most recent and exciting films from East and South East Europe, mainly countries that are not yet members of the large EU family. Why Eastern Neighbours? The ENFF strives to get the Dutch and international audience in the Netherlands acquainted with the cinema and culture of their eastern neighbours.`
