Laetitia Carton was born in 1974 in Vichy. In 2009, she directed a 90-minute television documentary "La Pieuvre" on a Huntington's disease - neurodegenerative genetic disorder that decimated her family. The film was selected at FIPA 2010, Leipzig and Tubingen film festivals. "Edmond, a portrait of Baudoin" - the first feature-length documentary won the Grand Prix of the festival "Traces de Vies" in Clermont-Ferrand, 2014.
